At Southeast Servo we feel you should know why your servo motor failed. Whether your servo motor failed due to bearing failure, contamination, feedback failure, or something else, we can many times direct you to the cause of the failure.
We will let you know on our quotation (usually generated within one week) what we found wrong with your servo motor, what may have caused the problem(s), and what Southeast Servo must do to repair them. We will also include this information on the packing slip when you get your motor back. This information can be used by your maintenance department to keep the motor from failing again resulting in less downtime and expense.
An Excel spreadsheet summarizing the failure information can be generated after a number of servo motors have been sent in to show trends in the cause of the failures. If you will tag your paperwork that you send in with the servo motor with machine information, we will include that information on the packing slip when you get it back so that you can track each servo motor back to the machine from which it came.
